The Dolphins announced on Thursday they have designated OT Julie’n Davenport to return from injured reserve.
This officially opens a three-week window of time for Davenport to practice with the team before Miami will need to add him to their active roster.
Davenport, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Texans back in 2017. He was traded to the Dolphins as part of the Laremy Tunsil trade coming out of the preseason.
Davenport is in the third year of his four-year, $2.986 million contract and set to make base salaries of $645,000 and $735,000 over the final two years of the agreement.
In 2019, Davenport has appeared in one game, making one start at right tackle.
