According to Ian Rapoport, the Dolphins are expected to sign WR Antonio Callaway to the practice squad.
Callaway was a former fourth-round pick of the Browns but suspensions ended up getting him cut and knocking him out of the league. He’ll be looking for a fresh start in Miami.
Ian Rapoport notes Callaway will serve a seven-game suspension to start the season but can still attend meetings and do rehab work.
Callaway, 23, is a former fourth-round pick of the Browns back in 2018. He agreed to a four-year, $3,177,856 contract that included a $717,856 signing bonus.
The Browns waived Callaway during the season and he had a brief stint with the Tampa Bay Vipers in the XFL.
In 2019, Callaway appeared in four games and caught eight passes for 89 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
