Jay Glazer of Fox reports that the Miami Dolphins have fired head coach Tony Sparano.
Michael Lombardi tweets that Todd Bowles will take over as the interim head coach.
We posted earlier that this decision was coming but the reports suggested that it may not happen until after the season but Dolphins owner Stephen Ross must have felt that it was time. Miami had been playing really well before Sunday’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
