Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that the Dolphins have hired former Rams LBs coach Frank Bush as their assistant head coach/LBs coach.
The Rams brought in Wade Phillips to run their defense in recent weeks, so some changes were expected to be coming to their defensive coaching staff.
However, it appears as though Bush secured a decent opportunity with the Dolphins.
Bush, 54, began his NFL coaching career with the Oilers back in 1987 as their linebackers coach. After eight years in Houston, Bush took over as the Broncos linebackers coach where he remained for another seven seasons.
Since then, he’s worked for the Cardinals, Texans, Titans and most recently for the Rams as their linebackers coach.
