Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports that Jaguars free-agent QB Chad Henne is “in the mix” for the Dolphins as a potential backup option.
Henne, 32, is a former second-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2008. He played four years forย Miami before signing with the Jaguars as a free agent in 2012.
Henne restructured his contract last season with the Jaguars to a one-year, $3,250,000 contract and is now an unrestricted free agent for the second time in his career.
Over the past two years, Henne appeared in three games for the Jaguars and has recorded just two passing attempts.
