Gary, 25, originally signed on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of back in May of last year. He later caught on with the Bears before signing a future/reserve contract with the Dolphins in January.
He was waived with the injury designation during the preseason before returning to the Dolphins’ practice squad.
Gary has yet to appear in an NFL game.
