The Miami Dolphins announced Wednesday that they’ve promoted RBย De’Veon Smith to their active roster and signedย RB Brandon Radcliff to their practice squad.
The Dolphins’ practice squad now consists of:
- QBย Brandon Doughty
- TE Thomas Duarte
- OT Sean Hickey
- WR Malcolm Lewis
- DE Cameron Malveaux
- WR Drew Morgan
- DT Gabe Wright
- WR Kolby Listenbee
- RB Brandon Radcliff
Smith, 22, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan this past May. He stands to make base salaries of $465,000 (2017), $555,000 (2018) and $645,000 (2019).
The Dolphins promoted Smith to their active roster last week but waived him a few weeks ago before re-signing him to their practice squad soon after.
During his four-year college career at Michigan, Smith rushed for 2,235 yards on 495 carries (4.5 YPC) to go along with 38 receptions for 251 yards receiving and 23 total touchdowns over the course of 41 games.
