The Dolphins have released both OT Jordan Mills and TE Clive Walford with injury settlements, according to Ian Rapoport.
Mills was signed this offseason in free agency from the Bills on a one-year, $3 million deal, while Walford was brought on from the Jets.
Both should be able to recover and sign with other teams shortly.
Mills, 28, is a former fifth-round pick of the Bears back in 2013. He spent two years in Chicago before he was released during roster cuts at the start of the 2015 season and later claimed off of waivers by the Cowboys.
Mills had a brief stint with the Lions before the Bills signed him to their active roster. Buffalo re-signed him to a two-year, $4 million contract back in 2017.
In 2018, Mills appeared in all 16 games for the Bills and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 70 offensive tackle out of 80 qualifying players.
Walford, 27, is a former third-round pick out of Miami by the Raiders in the 2015 NFL Draft. He played out the final year of his four-year, $3.345 million rookie contract and made a base salary of $822,800 for the 2018 season.
The Raiders elected to place Walford on waivers last April and he signed on with the Jets soon after.
In 2017, Walford appeared in 13 games for the Raiders and recorded nine receptions for 80 yards receiving and no touchdown.
