The Miami Dolphins announced Friday that they’ve signed CB Rashard Causey to a futures contract for the 2020 season.

The Dolphins have now signed nine players to futures contracts including:
- LB Terrill Hanks
- LB Jake Carlock
- WR Andy Jones
- WR T.J. Rahming
- WR Terry Wright
- TE Chris Myarick
- OT Chidi Okeke
- DT/G Durval Queiroz Neto
- CB Rashard Causey
Causey, 23, wound up going undrafted out of UCF back in May. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Falcons.
Causey had a brief stint with the Broncos before signing on to the Dolphins’ practice squad late in the season.
During his college career at UCF, Causey recorded 64 tackles, two sacks, seven pass defenses, no interceptions, three forced fumbles and a recovery over the course of four seasons and 23 games.
