The Miami Dolphins announced Saturday that they’ve signed OL Bryan Witzmann to a contract.
The Dolphins had an open roster spot after placing RT Julien Davenport on injured reserve a few days ago.
Witzmann, 29, originally signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of South Dakota State back in 2014. He lasted just over a year in Houston before signing on to the Saints’ practice squad a few weeks into the 2015 season.
New Orleans elected to bring him back on a future/reserve contract, but he was unfortunately waived a few weeks after the 2016 draft. Witzmann had brief stints with the Cowboys, Chiefs, Vikings and Bears before signing a one-year contract with the Browns this past March.
Cleveland released Witzmann a few weeks ago.
In 2018, Witzmann appeared in all 16 games for the Bears.
