The Dolphins announced on Wednesday they have re-signed TE Clive Walford to the active roster.
Walford takes the spot freed up by Miami placing CB Xavien Howard on injured reserve. He was released from injured reserve by the Dolphins earlier this season.
Walford, 27, is a former third-round pick out of Miami by the Raiders in the 2015 NFL Draft. He played out the final year of his four-year, $3.345 million rookie contract and made a base salary of $822,800 for the 2018 season.
The Raiders elected to place Walford on waivers last April and he signed on with the Jets soon after.
In 2017, Walford appeared in 13 games for the Raiders and recorded nine receptions for 80 yards receiving and no touchdown.
