Jones, 29, originally signed on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Shepherd back in 2012. Since entering the NFL, Jones has played for several other teams including the Dolphins, Chiefs, Bills, Broncos, Ravens, Giants and Vikings.
The Dolphins elected to bring Jones back on a future/reserve contract this past January. However, he was unfortunately among the Dolphins final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
Jones hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since the 2014 season while playing for the Broncos.
