This comes after Dolphins HC Joe Philbin announced that they’re waiving RB LaMichael James and promoting TE Jake Stoneburner to their active roster.

Mostert, 23, wound up signing on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Purdue back in May. However, he was unfortunately among the Eagles’ final roster cuts.

Philadelphia later signed him to their practice squad, but notable players on the taxi squad are susceptible to other teams signing them to their active rosters.

During the preseason, Mostert ran for 124 yards on 28 carries (4.42 YPC) to go along with 13 receptions for 154 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
