Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Dolphins are signing veteran OT J’Marcus Webb to a contract on Friday.
Miami brought Webb in a for a workout earlier in the week, so he was clear on their radar as a potential addition.
The Dolphins are clearly in need of left tackle help after trading away Laremy Tunsil last weekend.
Webb, 31, is a former seventh-round pick of the Bears back in 2010. He spent three years in Chicago before he was waived and later claimed off of waivers by the Vikings at the start of the 2013 season.
Webb has had brief stints with the Chiefs, Vikings and Raiders before catching on with the Seahawks in 2016. The Colts signed him to a contract last July and brought him back on a new deal this past April.
Unfortunately, he was among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
In 2018, Webb was active for one game and made one start for the Colts.
