The Miami Dolphins announced Tuesday that they’ve activated CB Cordrea Tankersley from the COVID-19 list and placed him and LS Rex Sunahara on waivers.
Tankersley hasnโt played in an NFL game since tearing his ACL back in 2018.
Tankersley, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2017. He’s currently in the final year of a four-year, $3.17 million contract and set to make a base salary of $673,000 for the 2020 season.
The Dolphins placed Tankersley on the PUP list coming out of the preseason last year with a knee injury and later declined to activate him from the list.
In 2018, Tankersley appeared in six games for the Dolphins and recorded five tackles and no sacks or interceptions.
