The Miami Dolphins announced Saturday that they’ve promoted CB Jalen Davis to their active roster and waived CB Dee Delaney.
Delaney, 23, wound up signing on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Miami this past April. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract but was waived coming out of the preseason.
The Jaguars later signed Delaney to their practice squad before calling him up in November. He returned to the Jaguars’ practice squad soon after. Jacksonville promoted him to their active roster only to cut him loose soon after.
The Dolphins claimed Delaney off of waivers earlier in the week.
In 2018, Delaney has appeared in one game for the Jaguars but has yet to record a statistic.
