The Miami Dolphins announced Saturday that they’ve waived CB Marcus Sherels and promote S Montre Hartage to their active roster.
Sherels, 31, wound up signing on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Minnesota back in 2010. He has played nine years of his NFL career in Minnesota and just finished out a one-year contract with Minnesota.
Sherels later signed on with the Saints, but was released coming out of the preseason. He had another brief stint with the Vikings before signing on with the Dolphins last month.
In 2019, Sherels has appeared in eight games for the Vikings and Dolphins and totaled 66 kick return yards and 56 punt return yards.
