Bowman, 31, is a former fifth-round pick of the Bears back in 2008. He briefly played for the Vikings before returning to the Bears as an unrestricted free agent in 2012. The Giants later signed him to a contract in March of last year.
Miami wound up signing him to a contract a few weeks before this year’s NFL draft.
This season, Bowman has appeared in 10 games and recorded seven tackles, one interception and two pass defenses for the Dolphins.
