The Miami Dolphins officially waived DB Rob Rolle from injured reserve on Tuesday.
Rolle, 23, wound up signing on with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Villanova back in May. He agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with Miami, but was waived with an injury designation a few days later.
Rolle later reverted to the Dolphins’ injured reserve after clearing waivers.
During his college career at Villanova, Rolle recorded 160 tackles, seven interceptions, three fumble recoveries and 17 pass defenses over the course of five seasons and 50 games played.
