The Miami Dolphins announced Monday they’ve waived DE Arthur Miley to make room for QB Jay Cutler, who was officially signed to a contract after passing his physical.
Miley, 24, originally signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of Southern University back in May of 2015. He was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury at the start of his rookie season.
The Panthers once again cut him loose coming out of the preseason later and it wasn’t until January that he signed a future/reserve contract with the Dolphins.
Miley has yet to appear in an NFL game.
