The Miami Dolphins announced Friday that they’ve waived DE Nick Coe and LS Rex Sunahara to make room for LB Shaquem Griffin and CB Cre’Von LeBlanc, who were both signed to contracts.

Coe, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Auburn back in April of last year. He later signed on with the Patriots, but was waived during the preseason.
The Dolphins signed Coe to their practice squad and brought him back on a futures contract this past January.
During his college career at Auburn, Coe appeared in 29 games and recorded 35 tackles, nine sacks, a forced fumble and a pass deflection over the course of three seasons.
