Dolphins Worked Out Seven Players

According to Howard Balzer, the Dolphins worked out seven players on Tuesday including:

1. CB DaShaun Amos
2. CB Marcus Sayles
3. LB Willie Jefferson
4. LB Derrick Moncrief
5. LB Nick Usher
6. DE Jonathan Kongbo 
7. DE Mike Moore

Jefferson, 28, originally signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Stephen F. Austin back in 2013. He later signed a futures contract with the Bills in 2014 but lasted just a few months before spending two years in the Candian Football League.

The Redskins signed him to a futures contract in 2016 but was among their final roster cuts the following preseason and returned to the CFL, this time signing with the Saskatchewan Roughriders for three seasons. 

Jefferson spent the 2019 season with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and won the league’s Most Outstanding Defensive Player Award.

In 2019, Jefferson appeared in 18 games for the Blue Bombers and recorded 24 total tackles, 12 sacks, one interception, and six forced fumbles.
