Dolphins Worked Out Seven Players

According to Aaron Wilson, the Dolphins had seven players in for workouts on Tuesday. 

The full list includes: 

1. OLB Ben Banogu
2. OLB Quinton Bell
3. RB Jake Funk (signed to practice squad)
4. RB Hassan Hall
5. RB Elijah Holyfield
6. RB Jason Huntley
7. OLB Quincy Roche

Funk, 25, was selected in the seventh round of the 2021 draft out of Maryland by the Rams. He signed a four-year, $3,588,228 contract that included a $108,228 signing bonus.

The Rams opted to waive Funk in 2022 and he later signed on to the Saints’ practice squad. He was cut by New Orleans and caught on with the Colts’ practice squad. 

Funk bounced on and off the Colts’ roster in 2023 before being cut last week. 

In 2023, Funk has appeared in four games for the Colts. He rushed twice for 10 yards and caught his only target for 12 yards.
