Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Dolphins brought in free agent OT J’Marcus Webb for a workout on Monday.
The Dolphins are clearly in need of left tackle help after trading away Laremy Tunsil last weekend.
Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald mentions that Miami is planning to shift over Jesse Davis from the right side for the time being with sixth-round OT Isaiah Prince taking over at right tackle.
Webb, 31, is a former seventh-round pick of the Bears back in 2010. He spent three years in Chicago before he was waived and later claimed off of waivers by the Vikings at the start of the 2013 season.
Webb has had brief stints with the Chiefs, Vikings and Raiders before catching on with the Seahawks in 2016. The Colts signed him to a contract last July and brought him back on a new deal this past April.
Unfortunately, he was among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
In 2018, Webb was active for one game and made one start for the Colts.
