Callaway, 23, is a former fourth-round pick of the Browns back in 2018. He agreed to a four-year, $3,177,856 contract that included a $717,856 signing bonus.
The Browns waived Callaway during the season and he had a brief stint with the Tampa Bay Vipers in the XFL. The Dolphins signed him to their practice squad at the start of the regular season.
In 2019, Callaway appeared in four games and caught eight passes for 89 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
Tankersley, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2017. He’s currently in the final year of a four-year, $3.17 million contract and set to make a base salary of $673,000 for the 2020 season.
The Dolphins placed Tankersley on the PUP list coming out of the preseason last year with a knee injury and later declined to activate him from the list. Miami ultimately waived him in July but re-signed him to their practice squad this past September.
In 2018, Tankersley appeared in six games for the Dolphins and recorded five tackles and no sacks or interceptions.
