According to Pro Football Talk, veteran QB and current free agent Donovan McNabb believes there’s an 80-to-90 percent chance of his playing for an NFL team this season.
McNabb, 36, has been rather optimistic throughout the offseason, despite the fact that he’s drawn no interest to this point. He adds that there are “about three teams that I’m looking at,” but it’s really not about who he’s “looking at” and more about who’s looking at him.
At this point in time, he’s clearly in line for nothing more than a backup quarterback spot on a team’s roster. He may have to wait until an injury occurs before signing on with a new team.
