The Philadelphia Eagles have activated rookie CB Sidney Jones from the non-football injury list on Saturday, according to Ian Rapoport.
According to Rapoport, Jones will play in Sunday’s game against the Cowboys.
Jones, 21, was selected with the No. 43 overall pick by the Eagles in this year’s draft. He was considered to be one of the top cornerback prospects in this year’s draft class before he, unfortunately, suffered an Achilles tear during his Pro Day.
The Eagles placed Jones on the non-football injury list to open the season.
Jones signed a four-year, $6.14 million contract that includes $3.814 million guaranteed and he stands to make base salaries of $465,000 and $744,094 over the first two years of the agreement.
During his college career at Washington, Jones recorded 145 tackles, one sack, eight interceptions, one defensive touchdown, 21 pass defenses, six forced fumbles, three recoveries and 21 pass defenses.
