The Philadelphia Eagles officially placed CB Randall Goforth on the injured reserve after passing through waivers unclaimed on Thursday.
Goforth, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA back in May. He stands to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the agreement.
Philadelphia waived him with an injury designation on Wednesday.
During his college career, Goforth recorded 250 tackles, five tackles for a loss, 10 interceptions, four forced fumbles, three recoveries, 20 pass defenses and two defensive touchdowns over the course of 53 games.
