SI’s Peter King reports that the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs will hold private workouts with Texas A&M QB Ryan Tannehill.
The Eagles are scheduled to meet with Tannehill today and the Chiefs will hold their visit later in the week.
It’s hard to imagine Tannehill being available to either team, considering that both of them are drafting outside of the Top 10, but it is interesting to see them showing interest in a first-round quarterback prospect. This is most likely, them just doing their due-diligence regarding a draft prospect .
King adds that the Miami Dolphins “love them some Ryan Tannehill.” The Dolphins reportedly dined with Tannhill in College Station on Wednesday and then followed that up with 90 minute session on Thursday.
The Browns are still expected to consider taking Tannehill at #4, but the Vikings have made it known that their #3 overall pick is available for someone that’s looking to move up.
