The Philadelphia Eagles announced Friday that they’ve claimed CB Alex Brown off waivers from the 49ers.

Brown, 5-11 and 170 pounds, signed with San Francisco as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina State back in May after Brown participated in the team’s rookie minicamp.
Undrafted free agents are expected to sign three-year, $1.755 million contracts in 2019.
As a senior, Brown started all 11 games in 2018 and recorded 42 tackles, one sack, four interceptions and eight pass defenses.
