Tom Pelisssero of NFL Media reports that the Eagles have claimed DB Marcus Epps off of waivers from the Vikings on Thursday.
The Vikings claimed Andrew Sendejo yesterday, so this works out as a trade of defensive backs between the two teams.
Epps, 23, was selected in the sixth round by the Vikings this past April. He later agreed to a four-year, $2.7 million contract with Minnesota before being waived on Wednesday.
In 2019, Epps has appeared in eight games and recorded one tackle and no interceptions.
During his college career at Wyoming, Epps recorded 324 tackles, two sacks, nine interceptions, a defensive touchdown, 22 pass defenses, four fumble recoveries and five forced fumbles over the course of four seasons and 50 games.
