Eagles Cut WR Marquess Wilson & CB Randall Goforth

The Philadephia Eagles announced Tuesday that they’ve released WR Marquess Wilson and waived CB Randall Goforth.

Wilson, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Bears back in 2013. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2.208 million rookie contract and had been testing the open market for the first time in his NFL career.

The Jets signed Wilson to a contract last year but New York cut him loose during the final week of the preseason. After sitting out the 2017 season, Wilson signed a futures contract with the Eagles.

In 2016, Wilson appeared in three games for the Bears and recorded just nine receptions for 160 yards receiving and one touchdown.
