Eagles Designate TE Zach Ertz To Return From IR, Place DB Craig James On IR


The Philadelphia Eagles designated TE Zach Ertz to return from injured reserve on Monday and placed DB Craig James on injured reserve.


This opens a three-week window of time for the Eagles to activate himErtz from injured reserve and add him to their 53-man roster.

Ertz, 29, is a former second-round pick of the Eagles back in 2013. He’s in the fifth year of his six-year, $43.64 million contract that included $20 million guaranteed.

Ertz stands to make base salaries of $7.25 million (2020), and $7.75 million (2021) over the remainder of his deal.

In 2020, Ertz has appeared in six games for the Eagles and caught 24 passes for 178 yards receiving and one touchdown.
