According to Ian Rapoport, the Eagles are expected to release CB Sidney Jones on Saturday.
Jones recently came up as a possible trade candidate for Philadelphia, so it appears they weren’t able to find an interested team. (NFLTR)
Jones, 24, is a former second-round pick of the Eagles back in 2017. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $6.14 million contract that included $3.814 million guaranteed and stands to make a base salary of $1.3 million for the 2020 season.
In 2019, Jones appeared in 12 games for the Eagles and recorded 22 tackles, two interceptions and passes defended.
