Sproles, 35, is a former fourth-round pick of the Chargers back in 2005. He spent five years in San Diego before signing on with the Saints in 2011. New Orleans later traded him to the Eagles for the 2014 season.
Sproles played out the final year of his two-year, $8 million contract before signing a one-year, $1.415 million contract with the Eagles last year.
In 2018, Sproles appeared in six games for the Eagles and rushed for 120 yards on 29 carries to go along with 15 receptions for 160 yards and three total touchdowns.
