According to Zach Berman, the Eagles have restructured the contract of CB Michael Carter II.

The team traded for Carter and a 2027 sixth-round pick back in October, sending the Eagles WR John Metchie and a 2027 seventh-round pick in return.
Carter, 27, is a former fifth-round pick by the Jets in the 2021 NFL Draft out of Duke. He was entering the final year of a four-year, $3.8 million rookie contract when he signed a three-year extension with the Jets worth up to $33 million with $19 million guaranteed.
In 2025, Carter appeared in 13 games for the Jets and Eagles, recording five starts. He recorded 24 tackles and two pass defenses.
