Jones, 20, was selected with the No. 43 overall pick by the Eagles in this year’s draft. He was considered to be one of the top cornerback prospects in this year’s draft classย before he, unfortunately, suffered an Achilles tear during his Pro Day.
The Eagles could really use a top cornerback prospect like Jones, but they’ll obviously have to wait a bit for him to be 100 percent healthy and ready to contribute.
During his college career at Washington, Jones recorded 145 tackles, one sack, eight interceptions, one defensive touchdown, 21 pass defenses, six forced fumbles, three recoveries and 21 pass defenses.
