This continues a string of extensions from the Eagles, who are obviously looking to lock up some key contributors from their special teams unit.
Jones, 36, is a former seventh-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2004. He played for a number of teams including the Dolphins, Ravens, Rams and Texans before signing on with the Eagles as a free agent back in 2013.
Jones was in the final year of his three-year, $5.5 million contract and set to make a base salary of $1.75 million for the 2016 season before becoming an unrestricted free agent next year.
In 2016, Jones has appeared in all nine games for the Eagles and totaled 1,590 punt yards on 38 attempts (45.2 YPA).
