It is worth mentioning that Murray played for Eagles HC Doug Pederson while he was in Kansas City, so thereโs an obvious connection between the two.
Murray, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2014. Heโs was in the third year of his four-year, $2,402,424 rookie contract and set to make a base salary of $600,000 for the 2016 season when the Chiefs elected to waive him to get down to the 53-man limit.
The Cardinals later signed him to their practice squad just a few days later but elected to waive him on Monday.
Murray has yet to appear in an NFL game.
