Eagles To Sign CB/KR Tremon Smith To Practice Squad


According to Adam Caplan, the Eagles are expected to sign CB/KR Tremon Smith to their practice squad on Wednesday. 

Here’s the Eagles updated practice squad:

  10. CB Tremon Smith 

Smith, 23, is a former sixth-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2018. He signed a four-year, $2.6 million contract with Kansas City but was placed on waivers and later claimed by the Packers. 

Green Bay cut Smith loose earlier in the week. 

In 2019, Smith has appeared in eight games for the Chiefs and Packers and recorded two tackles to go along with 303 kick return yards.

During his college career at Central Arkansas, Smith recorded 113 tackles, two forced fumbles, a recovery, one sack, 53 pass defenses and 15 interceptions over the course of four seasons and 48 games.
