Eagles Waive CB JaCorey Shepherd From Practice Squad, Sign G Darrell Greene

The Eagles announced Tuesday that signed G Darrell Greene to their practice squad and waived CB JaCorey Shepherd from the unit.

The Eagles’ practice squad now consists of:

1. RB Byron Marshall
2. G Darrell Greene
3. DT Aziz Shittu
4. WR David Watford
5. LB Don Cherry
6. FB Andrew Bonnet
7. WR Paul Turner
8. C Aaron Neary
9. CB C.J. Smith
10. QB Aaron Murray

Shepherd, 23, was taken in the sixth-round of last year’s NFL draft by the Eagles. He signed a four-year, $2,401,112 contract with Philadelphia and was set to make a base salary of $525,000 when he was cut loose coming out of the preseason.

Last year, Shepherd, unfortunately, sustained a torn right ACL and subsequently missed the entire 2015 season.

The Eagles just signed Shepherd to the practice squad last week.

During his college career, Shepherd recorded 90 tackles, a sack, no interceptions, a forced fumble, two recoveries and 24 pass defenses over the course of four seasons.
