The Philadelphia Eagles announced Monday that they’ve waived CB Ryan Lewis.
Lewis, 25, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Pittsburgh back in May of 2018. He was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed him to the Cardinals practice squad.
Lewis later caught on with the Patriots but was among their final roster cuts on at the start of the 2018 regular season. He had brief stints with the Colts and Bills before signing on to the Eagles’ practice squad and being promoted to the active roster soon after.
In 2019, Lewis has appeared in five games for the Colts and Eagles, and recorded one tackle.
