Eagles Waive RB Matthew Tucker From NFI List

The Philadelphia Eagles officially waived RB Matthew Tucker from the non-football injury list on Tuesday.

Tucker, 24, had one year remaining on his three-year, $1.485 million contract and was set to make a base salary of $600,000 for the 2016 season.

Tucker signed on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of TCU back in May of 2013. He’s been on and off of their practice squad since then.

Last year, the Eagles waived him in July before he later reverted to their non-football injury list.

In 2013, Tucker appeared in two games for the Eagles, but didn’t record a single statistic.
