Eagles Waive/Injured DT Charles Walker To Make Room For LeGarrette Blount

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Thursday that they’ve waived DT Charles Walker with an injury designation to make room for newly signed RB LeGarrette Blount.

Should Walker clear waivers on Friday, he would revert to the team’s injured reserve list.

Walker, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Oklahoma before securing this opportunity with Philadelphia a few weeks ago.

During his college career at Oklahoma, Walker recorded 53 tackles, 13 tackles for a loss, 6.5 sacks, five pass defenses and one forced fumble over the course of three seasons and 21 total games.
