Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery Agrees To Restructured Contract

The Philadelphia Eagles announced that they have agreed to a restructured contract with WR Alshon Jeffery on Saturday which will convert his base salary into guaranteed money. 

Jeffery, 29, was taken in the second round of the 2012 NFL draft by the Bears. He played out the final year of his four-year, $4.54 million rookie contract with Chicago before agreeing to a one-year, $9.5 million contract with the Eagles in 2017. 

He is entering the second year of a four-year, $52 million deal and set to earn a salary of $11,750,000 this season, which is now fully guaranteed. 

In 2018, Jeffery appeared in 13 games and recorded 65 receptions for 843 yards receiving (13 YPC) and six touchdowns.
