According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, free agent WR Justin Hunter is healthy after dealing with a torn labrum and is conducting a series of team workouts with the Jets, Redskins, Texans, Patriots and Ravens.
Hunter actually worked out for the Patriots last month but wasn’t signed to a contract following the session.
Hunter, 28, was taken with the No. 34 overall pick by the Titans back in 2013. The Titans elected to cut him loose in 2016, but he was later claimed off of waivers by the Dolphins.
Hunter agreed to a pay cut to remain with the Dolphins before he was once again placed on waivers. Hunter was later claimed by the Bills claimed a few weeks into the 2016 season.
Hunter played out the in the final year of his four-year, $5.424 million rookie contract before signing with the Steelers on a one-year deal in 2017. He re-signed in Pittsburgh on a one-year deal for 2018.
In 2018, Hunter appeared in five games for the Steelers and caught three passes for 21 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
