The Atlanta Falcons announced Thursday that they’ve re-signed CBย Deji Olatoye and placed CB C.J. Goodwin on waivers.
Olatoye, 25, originally signed on with the Ravens an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina A&T back in 2014. He later caught on with the Chiefs and Cowboys before the Falcons signed him to their practice squad at the start of last year and eventually called him up in November.
The Falcons elected waived Olatoye a few weeks into the regular season and he later caught on with the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay cut him loose on Wednesday.
In 2017, Olatoye has appeared in five games and record one tackle and no interceptions or pass defenses.
