Falcons Sign LB Jermaine Grace To PS, Release LB Richie Brown

The Atlanta Falcons announced Thursday that they’ve signed LB Jermaine Grace to the practice squad and released LB Richie Brown from the unit.

Here’s the Falcons updated practice squad:

  1. QB Kurt Benkert
  2. OT Daniel Brunskill
  3. TE Jaeden Graham
  4. TE Alex Gray (International)
  5. WR Devin Gray
  6. C J.C. Hassenauer
  7. DB Ryan Neal
  8. DT Jacob Tuioti-Mariner
  9. DB Deante Burton
  10. DT Justin Zimmer
  11. LB Jermaine Grace

Grace, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Miami back in May of last year. Atlanta elected to cut him loose in November and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Colts.

After brief stints with the Browns, Grace was once again claimed off of waivers coming out of the preseason, this time by the Seahawks. Seattle waived Grace with an injury designation last month and he later reverted to their injured reserve list.

The Seahawks waived Grace from injured reserve a few days ago.

In 2017, Grace appeared in 11 games for the Falcons and Colts and recorded three tackles.
