The Atlanta Falcons announced that they’ve signed LB Jack Lynn to a contract and placed FB Soma Vainuku on waivers Monday.
Vainuku, 25, originally signed a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of USC back in May of last year. He was waived with an injury designation and later cut loose from injured reserve a few weeks into the regular season.
The Falcons signed him to a contract this past March.
During his college career at USC, Vainuku rushed for 148 yards on 24 carries (6.2 YPC) to go along with 17 receptions for 124 yards receiving and four touchdowns over the course of 42 games.
