Missouri DE Charles Harris said he recently worked out for the Falcons.
“They’re a good team,” Harris said, via Vaughn McClure of ESPN. “I like Vic Beasley and all of them. I like the defense they run.”
He has also previously worked out for the Eagles and visited with the Jets.
Jordan Raanan reports that Harris will be selected “higher than most believe” and could possibly go ahead of Tennessee DE Derek Barnett.
Harris is a two-time second team All-SEC player for the 2015 and 2016 seasons. Over the course of his three-year college career it Missouri, he recorded 136 total tackles, 18 sacks, 34.5 tackles for loss, five pass defenses, one fumble recovery and five forced fumbles.
We have him being selected by the Dolphins in the First Round of our 2017 NFL Mock Draft.
